A Nice Day Out

The kids and I ventured to the zoo today. It was a balmy 55 degrees. We all had an enjoyable time.

 

 

People spend lots of money buying
"animal crackers" at the zoo entrance.
My kids learned months ago
 that these goats prefer leaves.

 

The kids thoroughly enjoyed their Icees.

S'no Fun

Yay. It snowed. (Wish there was a sarcasm font.)

We got about 5 inches of the white stuff and lots of ice the past few days. Thankfully, the sun is out and the temps are rising.

The kids went to school this past Monday but were out the rest of the week (today and next Monday were already planned no-school days). We are ready for some normalcy. Thank goodness Abby's gymnastics class is being held as usual today.
